The Complete Cupcake class

The class runs from 10am – 4pm and costs £90 which includes Afternoon Tea

In this class we will provide you with the skills you need to bake and decorated perfect cupcakes from start to finish!

You will walk away from this class with the ability to bake and decorate cupcakes like a pro!

This class is suitable for all abilities whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced baker just looking to brush up on your skills.

No need to bring anything with you as everything (including lunch) will be provided.

You will go home with 12 cupcakes baked and decorated by you!

During the day you spend with us you will learn how to:

bake perfect cupcakes

fill cupcakes with jam, lemon curd or nutella

make blossom flowers, a 2 layered blousey flower, a 2 toned cameo brooch, a butterfly and a veined leaf

emboss fondant with lettering

emboss fondant with quilting and pattern effects

colour fondant

cover cupcakes with a fondant disc

make super light buttercream

flavour and colour buttercream

pipe buttercream in two different styles
Children's Christmas Cupcakes Class

Your child will decorate 6 delicious cupcakes using fondant and buttercream icings.

They will learn how to model a snowman, a polar bear, a gingerbread man, Santa, a gift and how to pipe a buttercream swirl and a piped Christmas tree.

A drink and all materials are provided, all you need is an enthusiastic child!

Chalk Board Cake Class

Chalk Board cakes have been a huge hit on the boho chic wedding scene this year. This class teaches you how to achieve the look with a simple shabby elegance.​ Some previous knowledge of cake covering is recommended before enrolling with this class.

On this class you will learn how to:
level, split, fill and crumb coat a 5" round cake

perfectly cover a cake with black fondant and the techniques

necessary when working with dark colours

cover a board without wasting fondant beneath the cake

paint a chalk board design using edible "chalk"

dye sugar florist paste a colour of your choice

make a cabbage frill wired rose

Round Cake Covering Class

This class teaches how to ice a cake with fondant perfectly every time, without any rips, tears, pleats or the dreaded elephant skin. If you have trouble icing with fondant or have never attempted to ice a cake but would like to know how then this class is the perfect starting point, covering all the basics techniques and more.

On this class you will learn how to:
Work & colour fondant icing

perfectly cover a dummy cake in fondant until you are happy with the flawless finish

​cover a board without wasting fondant beneath the cake

make a sugar florist paste carnation flower and small filler flowers

cut out lettering and attach to the board

add ribbon finishing touches

Sharp Edged Cake Class

This class teaches the latest trend in über fashionable wedding cakes being super sharp and precise. You will learn all the necessary techniques to easily produce perfect and up to date cakes every time.

On this class you will learn how to:
level, split, fill and crumb coat a 5" cake make chocolate ganache

cover a cake with perfectly smooth ganache

cover a cake in fondant and achieve crisp sharp edges

make a traditional sugar rose

cover a board and transport a cake onto the board

2 Tier Ruffles and Painted Roses Class

This class is for those who have dabbled in cake decorating and wish to advance into stacking cakes and learning decorative styles that will take your skills up to the level of gorgeous wedding cakes.

On this class you will learn how to:
level, split, fill, crumb coat and cover a 5" round cake

cover a 7" dummy cake

cover a board without wasting fondant beneath the cake

safely stack cakes without risk of collapsing or cracking of the lower tier

dye sugar florist paste

make various frilled ruffle effects

paint roses and leaves with food dye

Baking Masterclass

This class will teach you how to bake perfectly light and fluffy chocolate and classic Victoria sponges as well as fruit scones and courgette and raisin muffins.

During the course of the day you will be guided through baking your very own cakes and scones with full recipes and instructions.

There will also be a question and answer session where all your baking issues will be solved so you never have to suffer sunken or dry disaster bakes again! The science of baking will be made simple so you will be able to expand your repertoire by confidently adapting these recipes for any flavour you wish.


On this class you will learn how to:
bake a moist multi layered chocolate cake

make chocolate buttercream and fill your cake

bake a light victoria sponge

make vanilla buttercream and fill and dam your cake with jam

bake perfect fruit scones

Painted Cupcakes Class

Adult's Christmas Cupcakes Class

Square Cake Covering Class

This class tackles the tricky square cake feared by even the most able of cake makers!
Learn how to perfectly ice a square cake without having to resort to cutting and repairing your fondant.
After this class you will no longer avoid making square cakes!


On this class you will learn how to:
colour fondant icing

work with fondant

perfectly cover a dummy cake again and again until you are happy with the flawless finish

cover a cake board

make a fondant bow and ribbon

cut out lettering and attach to the board

add ribbon finishing touches


Cake Pops Class

Traditionally made cake pops are deliciously soft truffle like delicacies perfect for bridal dessert tables and wedding favours as well as any stylish birthday party.
This class will take you through the entire process with all the necessary tips and tricks to produce perfect pops every time.


On this class you will learn how to:
combine the correct proportions of ingredients to make the cake pop centres

form round and novelty shaped pops

cover pops in chocolate and candy melts

make a daisy, a blousey flower, a butterfly and blossom flowers

pipe royal icing details including piping leaves.
